After she hung up, Sabrina took out Marcus’ name card from her bag and called the number on the card.

The phone rang for a long time before it was connected.

The polite voice of a woman came from the other end of the phone. “Hello, may I know who this is?”

“Uh… I… Is this Mr. Marcus Shaw’s number?” Sabrina asked.

“Yes. Director Saw is in a meeting. I am his secretary. May I know if there’s anything that I could help you with?” asked the person on the other end.

“No, thank you.” Sabrina knew that Marcus was deliberately hiding from her.

He gave her his name card and asked for her number. It was all just a show put on by a rich guy at the banquet.

Sabrina hung up the phone and left the ward after she packed up her bag. When she arrived at the hospital entrance, she saw Sebastian’s assistant, Kingston, standing there.

Kingston had a stern expression and did not say a word.

Sabrina did not think that Kingston was specifically here to pick her up. She thought she would not have such privilege, so she did not even have the idea to initiate a greeting with Kingston. She walked past Kingston and went straight towards the direction of the hospital’s bus stop.

Kingston was speechless.

She carried her bag and went up the elevator. She opened the door, and before she could change her shoes at the entrance, she heard someone talking in the living room.

It was a delicate, whiny, and pretentious voice. “Darling Sebastian, could I… stay over tonight?”

Sabrina tilted her head at the entrance and saw that it was indeed Selene.
